Update: Automated Parking

Here's a high-tech solution to making fruitless laps around parking garages and getting into fights with fellow parkers. It's called the Woehr Multiparker 730, and it's one of several such "multiparkers" Woerhr has constructed throughout Europe.

But for the added convenience, you'll have to give up some control over exactly where your car gets parked. And it would likely be left to the discretion of each parking company to determine the protocol for the rare but inevitable day when the payment machine malfunctions and refuses to return your car.
